Testo critico

he sinuous lines, combined with refined chromatic research, make Accaria’s work a brilliant study on the forms and functions of the fundamental expressive structures of creativity.

From “Strada per minori” also emerges the artist’s passion for the artisanal and material dimension of art. The woodcut is created with two overlapping matrices, born in front of the glimpse of beauty admired by the artist in front of a cliff in a seascape, a symbol of the power of nature.

The search for wonder in Accaria’s work is accompanied by a particular attention and sensitivity towards existential themes and the great questions of human existence. Through their own energy, and despite the tragedies of history, human beings still demonstrate their ability to forge new paths in life, embark on unexpected journeys, and face the unknown, embracing the risks it entails.

Doubt, Accaria ultimately seems to tell us, is not necessarily a source of pain and dissatisfaction; rather, it can become a catalyst for growth and discovery.
