Testo critico

In “The Woman of Fire”, glass becomes a metaphor for a human condition suspended between vulnerability and resistance. The female figure, immersed in an incandescent range of reds, oranges and ambers, emerges from a hostile landscape. Nudity does not become exhibition, but a strong statement.

The body, apparently fragile, takes on the value of a principle through which an irreducible inner energy is manifested.

Fire is not just color: it is a condition of the spirit, a force that continues to burn even when reality seems to consume and exhaust all certainty. The work is thus configured as a reflection on resilience, understood not as invulnerability, but as the ability to remain present to oneself within the great difficulty of our own freedom to EXIST.

“The Woman of Fire” does not celebrate a force without DOUBTS: it tells of a force that knows its own fragility and, precisely for this reason, acquires authenticity. Glass, a fragile and luminous material, finally becomes its most complete metaphor: it can crack, it can be crossed by light, but it is precisely in its fragility that it finds the possibility of shining.

La Donna di Fuoco

Vetro dipinto a mano

Anno 2026

The Woman of Fire

Hand painted glass

Year 2026

“The Woman of Fire” represents the force that resists “everything”, even if in the constant DOUBT of her own resistance to a “raw and dark whole”. The vertical cuts in the background recall a sharp and dangerous water, difficulties that descend relentlessly.

Today he finds himself in the controversial time of DOUBT between love, trust and surprise violence. But the female figure, warm in shades of red, orange and amber, remains erect. Despite “everything”.

Even in nudity and therefore in maximum vulnerability, her ardor does not go out, dancing within her own story in a body that may no longer belong to her. Sensuality is not exhibition, but awareness. The body is the symbol of an inner energy that does not allow itself to be tamed. The work thus becomes a hymn to resilience, to the ability to “remain” firm and bright even when everything around it presses, hurts, takes away and KILLS.
